Akire Lou came into King Halloween's pride after being chased out of her pride for being too old and faint hearted. She was (and still is) an amazing hunter. Her old King was evil, and would kill lions without remorse. She knew she wouldn't be able to stay there, as she was reaching the age that her king considered to be "useless and too old". She then had cubs with the king, because he forced her to. One night she was sleeping with her newly born cubs, she was violently ripped out of her nest by the king. He swiftly slit the neck of each cubs neck, because they weren't pretty enough for him. She then jumped up with her amazing agility and clawed his right eye, ear and nose until his eye was turned into eye soup, his ear was deaf, and he could smell no more. She grabbed her two dead cubs and ran as fast as possible away from her old king. When she was miles away, she dug two holes beneath a tree and laid her cubs to rest. She then continued walking, in search of a new, nice pride.
About a week later, Akire Lou was stalking a gazelle. She was in pouncing range when a something tackled her from behind. It was a lion, a very handsome male lion that was definitely a king. "Who are you?" the lion growled. "Akire Lou." she briskly replied. "I was chased out of my old pride after the king killed my cubs. I mean no harm to you, I swear." She eyes were filled with fury for a second, and then returned to being nervous. The lion got off of her and sat in front of her. He looked her up and down, an affectionate gaze in his eyes. "I'm King Halloween. You seem like a very good hunter." Akire Lou blushed. "I think I am. That's what my mother told me anyway, before her throat got ripped out by my old king." Her ears laid flat on her head for a few moments. "So you aren't in a pride?" King Halloween questioned. "Not at the moment, I'm searching for one right now though." Akire Lou said. "Well, you're lucky you ran into me. Would you like to join my pride?" King Halloween asked. He puffed out his chest and shook his mane ever so elegantly. Akire Lou looked at him in awe. "Only a fool wouldn't want you as a King!" She stated. He came over to her and did a head rub to her. "Follow me, I will take you back to my pride." King Halloween said.
