Lady Pappilon

Pappilon was kidnapped by King Globo alongside a lot of other cubs so he could slaughter them all in his territory. However, the cub was tough and stared the King down, snarling, rather than begging for mercy like her littermates. King Globo looked to Afiya, who was laid in her den and preparing to pass on, then back to the spotted cub. He decided he could do with a replacement, and this cub was young enough to train into being as cruel as the old female he'd be losing soon. Pappilon quickly became attached to the elder, soaking up her stories of the past and learning from the cruel deeds that she'd committed. Even after Afiya passed on, she would always look within herself to find what her old teacher would have done in any situation.
Soon after a rogue male wandered into the territory, impressed by the pride, and hung around Pappilon to train her up, leaving a few scars but producing a tough cub.
A self appointed Queen, Pappilon helps Globo keep the pride in check, strutting about with the confidence of someone who knows how invaluable they are to the pride.
At 11 and a half years old, Queen Pappilion stepped down from her position and settled in the centre of the territory, ready to join those who'd already passed to the next world.
