Before her first heat she had already risen to the throne, and outside of her position, she has very little idea of her identity. After all, if she isn't the Queen, than who is she? She isn't deaf to the rumors of her mate's disloyalty, and though she dispels them at every chance, her blood can't help but turn cold with fear. What if there's truth to them? A threat cannot be tolerated, no, it will not be allowed to exist.
