Nyx cleaned up after her mate, the king. Aristaeus was a miserable excuse for a ruler, and in all honesty it was Nyx who governed the pride. She was a fantastic queen, though Aristaeus didn't and unfortunately never did officially name her as one. She holds the respect of every individual in the pride, though she wasn't even born in it and came in the last days of Pan. Nyx is responsible, determined, intelligent, calm, and calculating- the absolute opposite of the previous king, who enjoyed spending his days wandering about the pridelands and rolling in dirt with his hyena pup.

Despite Aristaeus' undesirable qualities, Nyx unfortunately fell head over heels for him- often after a particularly stressful argument. Nyx bore most of Ari's cubs. No one held her lovestruck phases against her, though- all of the lionesses agreed that Aristaeus could be charming when he wanted to, and it's not Nyx's fault she'd fallen for a complete moron. They just hoped that the new heir didn't take on the qualities of the immature ruler.
