Named for her beautiful pelt, she is second only to the king, queen and princess and is treated like royalty, along with any cubs of hers marked so beautifully. Despite her position in the power dynamic, she was not so loved by the King, but by the pride. She was however greatly respected by the dying Miru-Grim for her prophetic tellings, and he consulted her on the length of his continuing lifespan. Eventually it came to be seen that she may even die before the aging king, and this did not please him. He was a lion of planning and needed to know what was happening to him next. It greatly saddened the pride that the two deaths would come so close to one another. In fact, she foretold they would die on the very same day as each other. Two souls who's paths were never closely intwined with one another were now going to leave the world together. Starsender would forever mourn the loss of her loving pride as she sat from her home in the stars, where she was born.
