This lady can stare into your soul, just as well she's a good secret keeper huh? Apart from all those snide little hints at your damnation, our pretty girl Coal will happily keep you company and teach you the ways of the pride. The trusted advisor and consort of the old king Gyar, she's a definite rock in the pride. Just like her flame-fuel namesake, she'll be around for many years to come.
Coal is on speaking terms with nearly all the lionesses in the pride, but due to her strict duties as head paramour, her main companions are Aina and Erro. She's a caring lioness. but nowhere near so motherly as Aina and her daughter, so doesn't often get to foster cubs unless they're being trained specifically for the role of head paramour. Even then Aina usually steps in, letting Coal deal with the more physical and intellectual side of training.
Nearly all of Coal's children have grown up eventually left the pride, it seems her gentics create beautiful cubs with a longing for adventure much stronger than her own. She's incredibly proud of every cub, no matter where they may end up, but hopes with all her heart that her most recent little girl, Somakaria, will choose to stay in the pride and take over from Suramoi as Berraya one day.
