Shunned by cubs her age because of her lack of tail, Siran was desperate for a friend, anyone who would accept her tailless-ness as fact and yet still want to get to know her despite it. Mnemo, with her too-long trunk, one she would eventually grow into as she got older, though scared at first, decided to befriend the young, lonely lioness, and soon they were bonding about Siran's lack of a tail and Mnemo's too-long trunk.
