"You look for Dakarai to greet him, and finally find him near the borders of your territory, growling rhythmically into the wind." Dakarai arrived to the pride during a horrible drought and Otuka, desperate at that point for all the help he could get, welcomed the wandering male into the ranks of the pride. Dakarai has told no one anything of his past or of where he lived before he came here. Mysterious as he is quiet, Dakarai comes off as a very odd individual with almost nothing to talk about. Otuka has seen him step up to take charge on several occasions, but he has yet to see Dakarai let anyone get close to him. From what the pride has gathered about him, Dakarai is incredibly clever with a knack for sorting out a situation long before he goes in to confront it. But the most interesting (or odd) thing about him is the fact that Dakarai has a very close bond to the local Golden Jackals that make their own in the shrubland surrounding the prides den. The jackals dog him with every step and Dakarai has even been seen giving them food!
