Generation 4 Tyra became a broodmother to this pride but made it quite clear that she would not become a breeder in her own right. While she does not mind caring for the cubs of others; she chose to not want to be a mother herself. In her heart of hearts, she knew that she didn't have a maternal instinct to such a degree as the other lionesses. Confessing her feelings to her pride king and the others when they had their nightly gatherings, Shadowbrace understood and respected her feelings. Though he expected her to give her life to the cubs that were in her care as a guardian and protector while the other lionesses fulfilled their roles. Of course should she need another broodmother to assist with the load, Shadowbrace promised that he would do all he could to find another lioness worthy to such a task and that would be a side kick to Tyra. Tyra was relieved of the acceptance of her choices and pleased by the support. Even though cubs were beginning to be born into their pride; Tyra was content to be the guardian or 'Aunt' to all of these little furballs.
