Lakenose

Charges: Eleana, Tzuyu, Cerridwen, Chaeyoung, Solstice

Highly respected Lakenose is now the Pride’s eldest member. Her advanced age means even the youngest of the pride respect and rever her. Lakenose was a hunter for many years, even going out as one of the Queen’s Warriors, the Pride’s treasured hunters. She retired from this job at 13. Even though she loved being able to provide for the pride, she was aging quickly and needed a calmer job. She didn’t just do nothing after this retirement though. Lakenose turned to being a broodmother. The lioness adored cubs but unfortunately only one of her own remains among the pride. So she made a decision to be the one who cared for cubs while their moms were sleeping or needed a break.
Her first charge became Keelan and Queen Isadora’s firstborn, Princess Eleana. That was 2yrs & 3 months ago. Lady Solstice(Now 1yr old) was her latest charge and likely, seeing her age, her last. Lakenose knows that at 15yrs and 3 months, she probably won’t live much longer and simply desires to spend as much time as she can with her daughters(Those born to her & her charges).

Despite her pride in her work and hunting, her real pride and joy are her children. The lioness bore 3 cubs during her lifetime, with Pebblenose being the only one to remain in the pride today and give her grandchildren. Around the time she was nursing her young cubs, she ended up adopting a young female, Paleflower as her fourth cub. Paleflower remains among her adopted family to this day and is just as much Lakenose’s daughter as Pebblenose is.
