Izulu was among the first lionesses to ever be in the pride. She served as the lead hunter due to her experience and because of this, most lions learned to respect her despite her sourness. Her cause of death was an infected wound she'd received during a hunt; her old age made her unable to fight off the infection. She is proceeded by her daughter and almost exact lookalike Iphahla, an inquisitive yet kind lioness who struggles to live up to her mother's name.
