He named her after her markings. :Five Months: She joined the Foster Pride. :One Year, One Month: Although King Zakari expressed interest in her, Frosted Barrage did not think the small amount that he offered was enough for the fine lady. :One Year, Two Months: Once again King Zakari offered a sum of beetles for Orange Sherbet. Once again King Frosted Barrage was hesitant to release the female into the older king's care. This time it was the lioness who intervened on the trade's behalf. "Sire," She said to Frosted Barrage, "I would go with King Zakari and join his pride. All those under him are treated well and already Snow Eye is there. She would like the company too, a familiar face as she grows?" King Frosted Barrage considered the adolescent's words. He nodded, "Indeed you are right. This is a good thing and I know King Zakari will care for you. You may go."
