Many years ago while King Eye of The Storm was making his patrol rounds, he spotted a middle aged lioness lying near some brush. She was very bloody, and at first he wondered if she was even alive. As he moved closer their eyes met and it was love at first sight. Eye of The Storm brought her back to den, nursed her back to health, and made her his Queen. She gave his life meaning, and together they created a beautiful family. Queen Emily is getting quite old now, and has retired from hunting. Now she stays close to the den, and watches over the cubs when the girls go on their hunting trips. She teaches the cubs the skills they need to become strong and valuable pride members. She knows her time is coming to an end, so she has chosen her eldest daughter to take her place. She spends her days teaching Princess Ellie the basics of being Queen. She has strong hopes that Princess Ellie will be able to fill the role once she passes on. Queen Emily has a secret that only she knows. Hopefully she will be strong enough to handle what she's gotten herself into.
