Biography
Lidrea

"Oh won't you come with me?
Where the moon is made of gold
And in the morning sun
We'll be sailing free."

Lidrea was among the first few lionesses to join Chrysostom's pride. She and her old friend, Kellia, met him on his travels after leaving their birthplace behind. Although Kellia felt differently, Lidrea found the young lion endearing and chose to stay with him, believing he would grow into a magnificent king. For many in the pride, it is hard to imagine what life would be like without Lidrea around to fuss over their safety or tell them fables beneath the moonlight. She was there for the birth of most of her pridemates and watched them take their first hesitant steps outside the den, and over the years she has even brought some cubs of her own into the world.

Lidrea's soft spoken attitude and unwavering kindness has made her a grandmother figure of sorts. As the days pass and her bones begin to creak with age, she is treated like a queen by the pride she helped to nurture.

"Oh won't you come with me?
Where the ocean meets the sky."
