Twin sister of King Hades, his closest friend. She was spoiled from birth, being the younger sibling of the Heir of the Pride, a very vain lioness from the start. Persephone is very rarely found far from her brother's side. She may not be Queen, but she holds more sway in the ranks. She adopted King Thane when she found him in the snow not far from their den while out hunting, immediately doing her part to whisper in her brother's ear that he should be next in line for the throne. As Queen Mother, she keeps tight control on her son, keeping her place in the Pride despite her brother's absence.
