As the daughters of the king and queen of the pride, Jojo and her sister Imani grew up well treated and adored by all the other lions in the pride. They weren't really princesses; Commander didn't set titles and so his daughters were technically at the same status as any other cubs, but because of their heritage they lived in the royal den.

Jojo is the elder cub of the litter, and has always shown a slight bit more potential than her sister. Jojo knew her sister was very insecure about this, and always tried to help her practice her hunting skills. It wasn't as if Jojo lacked her own insecurities. She didn't like her own plain, heavybuilt looks and wished she was prettier, like Imani. Imani was indeed very beautiful, her structure very much like their graceful mother's. Jojo was built more like Commander, made for strength and stamina. Their parents' love for them was equal however; both adored their cubs, and Commander especially would spoil his daughters by bringing them back toys from his explorations.

The two share an unbreakable bond as sisters. They did everything together as cubs, and though they are fully grown and can't do everything together anymore, they still love and care for each other deeply.
