Siri

Siri likes to think of herself as a merchant of sorts, though she doesn't sell tangible items; instead she deals in information. She knows everything there is to know about seemingly everyone. She's never been stumped by a question before, no matter how private or personal it may be. Sometimes it almost seems like she knows more about her pridemates than they do about themselves. Getting Siri to reveal any sort of information is incredibly costly, but her unrivaled accuracy has led lions both in her pride and out of it to seek her help. Many suspect that her services have made her even richer than the Bone King, but of course she'd never confirm such a thing.
No one knows where Siri gets her information from, but most agree that it has to do with the snake perpetually curled around her shoulders. It's constantly whispering something in her ear or, when in the presence of other lions, watching them intently. The snake has never spoken to anyone other than its master, and Siri has never officially referred to it by name, though Moto swears she once heard her call it Laana. Most lions simply refer to it as "that terrifying snake thing." If it's bothered by this, it doesn't show it.
Nuru, the pride's chief shaman, often visits Siri's private den with a few silver beetles in paw. The visits are too short for them to be exchanging information, leading to quite a bit of speculation as to what exactly they're doing. The most common theory is that he's paying her to keep something secret, though why (and from whom) nobody knows.

[11/19/2015] - You were enjoying the soft sound of birds. Then, Siri proudly sauntered up, farted, and then died laughing. They think it's far funnier than you do. Cubs.
[1/10/16] - When you come to greet her, Siri quickly gets up, shuffling her paws on the ground to hide something she drew with her claw. Looking for a while, you find Siri sitting between large rocks, away from the rest of the pride. She greets you warmly, though. When you approach, Siri gives you the most intent look, but you cannot figure out why. Siri runs to you first, says hello and runs off somewhere. Huh?
