Pray for the Wicked

pray for the wicked named herself. originally named nissa, she fled the pride for months as a cub to explore the great world beyond her pride. she became a better lion because of it, and now she believes she has achieved some sort of holiness from her experiences. most lions just see her as stuck up and elitist, but she truly believes she is a better lioness than her peers and works hard to encourage them to be more like her. she doesn't believe in specific gods, just an overall spirituality within nature. although this can be frustrating and offensive, wicked is also kind and rather selfless. despite being a noble, she often gives her food up to scoundrels and other lower class members and works tirelessly to defend and provide for the pride. she is a good shoulder to cry on and her knowledge of healing is second to none within the pride. she often leaves sacrifices for nature spirits and recites various prayers and performs various rituals frequently.

she has found herself with her claws hovering over her own daughter's neck before, but she can't bear to kill her. she knows that she is growing more powerful with each passing day and is an evil lioness (in fact, she thinks she is just a demon's vessel and that her real daughter is long dead), but she refuses to kill her own kin.
