Superstition grew in the pride that Astrea's birth signalled the coming of bountiful times. The rains came just before she was born, the plants bloomed more than the pride had seen before that year and many more herds than usual passed through the lands. While her sister, Raksha, guards the pride, Astrea tends to the plants and prey. Although some may mock that as a weak job, most of the pride saw it for what it was. Astrea made sure their food source would always be around. She even tended to the large rhinos and elephants, meaning that although Raksha was considered the stronger of the siblings, she could more than hold her own in a fight.
