Queen Hasana is a very affectionate lioness but can be a bit possessive when it comes to her loved ones, especially when it comes to King Amani. She tends to become jealous very easily and doesn't like it when he focuses his attention on other females. Of course she'll restrain herself so not to cause a scene but that doesn't stop her from giving him the cold shoulder when a situation like this occurs. But being who she is, she's quick to get over it and reverts back to her loving self once it's over.

When she first arrived to the pride, she took on the role of broodmother almost straight away and kept a watchful eye on all the younger lions in the pride. Adopted as cubs, she thinks of them all as her own and although they're all now grown she still continues to be the fussy subordinate mother she was in the beginning towards them.

She was not at all excited when she heard of Bakari's pregnancy at first. She had been good friends with the other lioness up until she had heard that she was expecting Amani's cubs. She then became very hostile toward the lioness, however as soon as she took a look at the newly named Hiari, she could not find any reason to show signs of aggressiveness to the newborn cub. Her mothering instincts took over and, though she won't care for her exactly as she did with the other cubs, she is still fiercely protective of her. Her grudge against Bakari however, remains the same.
