Margiana

A Machiavelli of her breed Margiana started working on her way to the top when Prima was still in power. Once a new king stepped in, Margiana too seized the opportunity to push Prima out of the spotlight. She succeded, and though the new king was not enamored with her, he recognized her strength and talent in ruling. To him she became a second in command and a partner, though he knew he could only rely on her as long as their interests coincided. She first became useful, then - hard to replace. He kept a watchful eye on her, ready to outdraw her, never fully trusting this cunning and calculative cat. But she was smart enough not to antagonise the lion she perceived as her investment in the future of herself and her cubs. After some time a stable partnership formed that was beneficial to both parties and the pride.
