Kaethe has a very, very interesting bloodline. In fact, she is considered a lioness who is Triple-Royal.
Starting with the obvious, her mother's mother's side and Kaethe's namesake [the prefix Kae, if you couldn't tell]. Kaia, Kaethe's mother, is the daughter of Kaeya, who is the daughter of Kaeda, who is the daughter of Kaede, the start of it all. This makes Kaethe Kaede's great-great-granddaughter. Five generations of lionesses, all with confusingly similar names. Kaede's bloodline has traveled through three prides and outlasted six kings. Kaede descended from the now-late Great Jansher, later called Trigger, and the leaderboard lioness called Huntress Mistress. Kaethe can trace her heritage back 19 generations at the oldest, and is distantly related to old stat leaderboard topper Liger. And this is just Kaia's mother's side.
Kaia's father is a rare addition, and where the second of the three bloodlines came in. Kaethe's grandfather is Lord Aesinius. This makes her related to Lord Pan, and then Old Lord Zeus, the founder of the Katharos era. Kaethe is one of two living descendants in the pride who carries this blood in her.
Finally, the third bloodline comes from her father, Lord Xsayaisa. This is the newest and youngest bloodline in the pride history, as Lord Xsayaisa is the start of it and the first generation.
Because of her extremely rare mix of royal predecessors, Kaethe is highly valued and protected within the pride. Her cub would be the ideal heir to the throne, finally reuniting all three bloodlines as one and solidifying them as king of the pride. Kaethe enjoys this reverence, to say the least, and is very appreciative of it. Of course Xsayaisa's constant concern about her well-being can be a bit hindering when she wants to go stretch her legs and hunt, but other than that, she finds it nice that someone's always watching out for her. Some ask her how she can possibly stand it, but she replies with a carefree shrug and a smile.
