He is the great-grandson of King Amethyst Crown. His mother was the great king's granddaughter.
:Five Months:
King Frosted Barrage asked the Sentinel to send this cub to the Reserve. The king of the Storm Pride fully intended on doing this as there were quite a number of cubs he was sending to the humans' sanctuary these days. However, as the Sentinel's Sun was intending on taking him away, the Grey Lady set her paw upon his shoulder. She said, "He is a rather nice looking cub."
The king took another look at the young male cub and considered the matter. "Yes, he is."
Together they went to the Scrying Stone and saw that, indeed, the cub would be handsome when he was grown. It made The Sentinel's Sun both filled with pride and somewhat sad - for this was quite a fine male cub, one he would have liked to be the sire of and be able to raise as his heir.
For now, the cub's destiny is unknown. He is under the watchful eye of Satellite Radiation, so that he will not die in his first few months of life. After that, and as he ages, what his fate shall be is unknown. Surely The Sentinel would not replace his true-born son with one not even related to anyone in the Storm Pride?
:Ten Months:
You are lying in the dirt and Keep? flops on you in greeting. You roll over and squish them a little, and they laugh.
:Eleven Months:
While he was on a day trip with Satellite Radiation and Hypnos and two other cubs, the group was attacked by a pack of hyenas. The two lionesses were able to protect the cubs and chase away the hyenas successfully. He was old enough to remember this event and resolved to be courageous when he grew up.
:One Year, Five Months:
With King Frosted Barrage's permission, he went away to the Pride of Light to train with the subordinate males there.
:One Year, Seven Months:

King Frosted Barrage was having trouble deciding what carcass to haul over for dinner tonight, so he recruit Shadow Hunter to help him. When they were finished, the king complimented the young lion on his suggestions. He said: "You made excellent suggestions."

On this night, Shadow Hunter went to give his report to King Frosted Barrage. Afterward, during a casual conversation, the king mentioned that some of the missing lionesses had been located and one of them brought home.
Shadow Hunter knew one of The Sentinel's ladies was part of the group who went missing. He told King Frosted Barrage this.
"Ah, I see." Replied the king and fell silent to consider the matter. "I shall inform The Sentinel of this. Let him send over someone to fetch her, if he will."
Shadow Hunter felt this reasonable.

Shadow Hunter perks up when you approach and shows you his latest scar on the side. Cool, cool.
6 years.
Frosted Barrage stepped down from being the king. His eyesight had failed him, and his instincts and reflexes were simply not fast enough to make a good king. However, Heir Apparent was not ready to be the king, so Frosted Barrage chose Faustus to lead until the younger lion was ready to take over the Pride of Light. Being the grandson of the founder, Shadow Hunter felt that he was the true heir to the pride.
:Six Years, Seven Months:
Shadow Hunter invites you for a friendly wrestling session. You win, but he is a good sport about it.
