B: Paramour Kheema Vuur-Pels

You pass by Paramour Kheema Vuur-Pels and nod a greeting. She is smiling calmly, and returns your greeting. That... can't be a good thing.
As you pass by, Paramour Kheema Vuur-Pels glares at you intently until you are fully out of her sight. You still feel uneasy a while afterwards.

Whilst Kheema the Fiery is a treasured gift from a neighbouring allied pride, and a related cousin of Taije-Rhive the Vicious (heir to the throne) she is still 'of outsider blood', and as such is treated with heavy suspicion. Mowwa and Caelectress treat her with open hatred, whereas the newest Berraya will often be found sat with her, making spirits dance around in the fading evening light.

The spirits blessed Kheema to help relieve the burden of suspicion, giving her a brightly striped snake formed from the end of the tail of Lestanasho's familiar (BoarsTooth). This snake appears at the end of every day to bask in the evening sun, which stops some of the other lionesses from coming to close or doing her harm, for fear of offending the ancestors. Kheema is eternally thankful for that, and prays to Kitana the Wise to help the other pride members see the error of their judgement.

Kheema is a generally quiet lioness, keeping to herself and only ever offering small smiles to Coal the Immortal, who sees a little of her daughter Sava in the brightly pelted lioness, and has taken it upon herself to keep the huntress safe under her guidence, for she was once an outsider too, only finding peace the the blessings of her good friend Erro II the Queen of Birds. Kheema often totters around after the retired Queen Paramour, finding it fun to stick to her like a shadow, and learn little tidbits of gossip as the elder mutters to herself about 'youngsters these days', and finds a sort-of peace meditating quietly beside her Queen.
