Copperstream met Thamani the king of another land on a hunt, instantly falling in love with him she had met him later that night. Giving birth to his cubs one of them a male died while the other two survive, she longs to take her cubs and show them to their father but fears to do so incase Sunsight chases her babys away. She yearns for Thamani.

After her children had grown up to be young adolescents she had found that she was over Thamani, however when she came into heat again she went to Thamani as his last tryst with her had produced some beautiful cubs. Much to her horror she produced a mahogany cub and a fawn cub, when they were but adolescents they were found on the borders horribly mangled and without their heads, she was shocked and heart broken. Accusing Thamani of such a deed as he had become angry when he had found out about the mahogany lightning smoke who had a brown mask she broke away any contact she had with him and withdrew her support for his love for raven.

When her daughter Spiderheart was named queen Copperstream couldn't help but feel betrayed by Sunsight, she had the beauty of her daughter and more years of wisdom under her belt. Becoming more reclusive and bitter she cant help the jealousy and anger that seeps through her. She was Diamondshades best friend and Diamondshade had wanted Copperstream to take the throne if she had died before the heir was ready to become queen.

Not sad in the least when Sunsight was killed she knows that shes a prime suspect for the murder, luckily for her with Maji on the throne they don't seem to be too interested in blaming anyone just yet. Spiderheart is calling for justice and blaming copperstream who hotly retorts that she would never use hyenas to kill the King. A dangerous rift has occured between copperstream and her daughters With Maji on the throne she has ascended to Hand of the Queen, defending this title viciously and rather suspiciously .

The copper lioness was recently awarded the title of Matriach for her lineage and genes were spread throughout three and more prides. Her bloodlines kept the direpride and the distant pride of Iridescent closely knit and stopped war between the Dire and higurashi prides. A wise lioness now she's respected and lions come from all over to hear her counsel
