Present in the pride during Noctys's days as king, Galius was the only sub male during the old king's reign. When Noctys disappeared and the Fool took charge, Galius saw little reason to complain. He may have been in the pride longer than the new king, but he was younger than him and Noctys had chosen the Fool himself. Having always been loyal to Noctys, Galius respected the decision, and shifted his loyalty to the Fool.
