Sire - Oteino
Dam - Adisa
BIO
Her name is a mark of lineage. Because of her pale pelt, many assumed she was a descendant of the radiant alabaster queen, Callow. Thus Oteino named her, Callow the 2nd. She was a daughter who refused to leave her father's pride. Even when Baghiira assumed power after forcing Kumbakani into submission, he had allowed Callow II to remain. And just like the alabaster queen who lived long before her, Callow II assisted in both hunts and patrols.
---
Kumbakani had passed.
And now, Baghiira too.
Callow II could sense the tension in the air. Even after Baghiira had hand chosen Tulkin to take his place as the new King, sparks began to fly. Arguments spat between old lionesses and the new arrivals. Twilight, a young lioness barely out of her adolescent years, and mother of Tulkin; argued she should now be the new queen. She had birthed the new king after all. Many lionesses resented this, claiming it should be the council's decision as to whom should stand in the pecking order.
But alas, the last of the elder lionesses have passed into the next world. Lusha was the only one left within the council, and Tulkin took it upon himself to go bury her beyond their borders. There was no longer a council. Only Callow II remained as the new elder lioness; and her only allies were Sombra, the pride's Head Huntress, and their Saint Annex, Schixzi and Morgra.

"Callow, there is ill talk among the lionesses. I sense a civil dispute rising. You are the only one we can turn to now, m'lady," whispered Sombra with worry. She could tell the tension was growing. And any minute, these young lionesses could either leave, or attempt a takeover.
Callow II sighs as she gazes out towards the small ravine marking the borders to their land. "How did things come down to this? Curse Baghiira for allowing these....young hot-headed wretches to walk all over him. Now this..." she growls lowly. She peers over to Sombra, bright green eyes piercing deeply with annoyance; she had the alabaster queen's spirit for certain. Sombra lowers her head with respect.
"Despite Baghiira's choosing, m'lady...you are still a daughter of our past king, Oteino. With Kumbakani and now Baghiira gone, you are the one who should truly be entitled as queen. You are the last of Oteino's reign."
Elevating her head, Callow pondered for a moment. Yes, she was indeed the only royal blood blood remaining; and according to what Lusha has told her, it seems her blood goes much further back, beyond that of the Faraji pride even. Inhaling a breath, Callow II at last rises up. "Then let us end this dispute," she gruffly said before pivoting around to make her way back to the growing arguments.

Approaching the large group of bellowing lionesses, Callow made herself known by emitting a loud domineering roar that practically echoed throughout the night skies. All immediately fell silent and gazed at her with awe.
"That. Is. Enough!" She roared. "This is how you show respect to our fallen pride members? Your past king?! Baghiira chose no queen; his reasons were his own, and they are now buried with him." She then glances towards Twilight, narrowing her piercing eyes. "Baghiira may have chosen your son to rule this pride, but this alone is not what makes you a 'queen'. So.." she is cut off.
"So you think simply because you are now the oldest lioness here, it make you our queen?" Argued Twilight.
Callow merely erected her ears, and lashed her tail as she approached the slightly smaller lioness. Her bulk mass practically towered over many within the pride; and it was indeed...intimidating. "I am Callow the 2nd! Younger sister to Baghiira and Kumbakani, daughter to our past king, Oteino! Until I find Tulkin ready to take his place as our new king, yes, I will rule as Faraji pride's new queen." She then looked around, hearing the faint whispers and bellows surrounding her. "If there are any objections, speak now!" she roared.
Yet....no one spoke.
Elevating her head proudly, she speaks again, "good! Now I shall go find Tulkin. We shall discuss terms and his training shall begin. Now all of you, tend to your duties."
In seconds, the lionesses go their separate ways, few glancing back towards their new queen. Callow stood proudly. She held strong confidence in Tulkin though. She believed he would be a great king; and perhaps would be wise to choose a worthy queen before her time came as well.
"This is the era of change...hopefully...for the better.."
