Her grumpy daughter Lynx went of to take over Renn's role as Shaman. Muddle doesn't really believe that Lynx is learning from Renn, but does feel a little comfort at the thought of her own mother looking out for them from beyond the grave. Talia's twin, went opposite way of her sister under her mother's close raising and shyness, and ended up distrustful of pride. After growing up, Muddle rarely spent time with her sister, and raised her daughter Lynx the same way.

Spending so much time away from the pride has made Muddle strong, strong enough to take down aggressors that Kiongozi doesn't get to first. She wears bone armour from her first kill protecting the pride. She may not trust them, but she was born one of them and lives within their territory, so she owes them her allegiance. Not spending time with other lions also means interesting creatures follow her sometimes, attracted to her meals and not scared off by a group. Two of these, a crow and a raven, are around her most frequently.

Her son went on to be another pride's king.

One day a vicious brute came and murdered a lot of cubs in The Culling. Kiongozi was part of the force with Nebulous, Muddle, Eskimin, Auryx and Zippora, to take him and some of his pride down. They won but Kiongozi was badly injured and unable to defend the pride anymore. The brute’s pride left behind a cub, Kolivan, and the pride decided after a few days to have Kiongozi train him to eventually fight against his own blood to protect Nebulous’ pride. Muddle was against Kolivan joining the pride.
