Fala was captured by the same King that captured Dalili (but before) and imprisoned for many months. One of the guards, a son of the King, developed a crush on her and chose her to be his mate, protecting her from the abuse of other males. When he was tried an executed for treason, Fala was forced back into the caves with the newer, less violent prisoners. One of the King's bastard cubs, a trainee herbalist named Adhana, became friends with Fala, and Dalili soon after her incarceration. Dalili was agressive towards to guards, earning her the nickname 'fire demon' within the cave network. Soon enough, the King had her delivered his his private den to serve her some 'punishment'. Afterwards, she became quite desperate, if not for her own freedom, then for her friends'. Adhana organised a plan to escape just before the change of guard by luring away one of the officers, and ambushing the other. Dalili was injured severely and it seemed they wouldn't escape. But Sikia arrived just in time to carry the pregnant young lioness and lead the others to safety. They ran for days until they arrived in Achilia's jungle, weary, scarred, but finally free. Fala means 'foolish' in Swahili. 37%
