Suindara

Suindara was known in the pride as the cub that never aged.

She was born premature and ridiculously tiny, and not surprisingly everyone back then thought she wouldn't last more than a few days before the fragile body succumbed to illness. To their shock she not only made it, but also became a very energetic cub which few lions could keep up with. Even as all the other cubs surpassed her in size, she continued to try her hardest to become a skilled huntress without caring about her short built.

Eventually it became clear Suindara wasn't simply a short lioness. She was a gorgeous lioness with her dark, freckled pelt which seemed to reflect the starry night sky, but her stubby legs made Suindara seem to have frozen mid puberty. This would be seen as an issue to most lions, but the Nocturne Pride considered it a blessing from the Night Godess and even spread rumors about Suindara having been given the gift of eternal youth... after all once an adult she was just as energetic and jovial as a cub.

Of course Suindara aged normally, but with her stunning coat and energetic nature nobody would be able to tell. After retiring from hunting she still looked after cubs and tutored adolescents until she grew too weak to wander out of the den too often. Her death occurred only a week or so later, one of the saddest days in the Nocturne Pride's history. She died in her sleep, peacefully just like a napping cub,
