Neveren was originally a prince in Teikhan's pride, until the young cub opened his eyes. He had heterochromia, and since neither Zero nor Teikhan had the gene, Teikhan knew the cub was not his. He was not mad at the cub's mother. She had been older when she first arrived, and she probably already had a lover. Teikhan was not mad - he was hurt. Was he not enough for his queen? The king still treated the cub as his own, except for the fact that the cub was no longer a prince within the pride.
When Neveren was still a cub, Teikhan's adoptive sister Rokyra gave birth to her son, Avimelech. Teikhan's adoptive father, Roei, chose Avi as his heir. However, Roei wanted another sub male to act as an older brother to his grandson. Someone to look out for him and help him with patrols. Teikhan, still hurt from Zero's unfaithfulness, sent Neveren to Roei's pride.
Neveren and Avi grew up as brothers. Nine months apart, Neveren acted as a big brother and protector to Avi during cubhood and adolescence. Once they grew into adults, the age difference was miniscule and they were the best of friends. During Neveren's cubhood, he was also very close to Beloved, the only daughter of Queen Brivv. They were born on the same day, and when Neveren wasn't looking after Avi, he was with Beloved.
When they reached adulthood, Neveren and Beloved took each other as their mates, even though the rules of the pride forbade them from having cubs. They lived their lives fulfilling their duties within the pride, and returning to each other's side each night.

Neveren is very eager to show you his practice roar! It's amazingly impressive for someone so small.
On the 3rd of October 2016, he was one of many lions to be stripped of their title in the overhaul of the pride.
