First lioness of the pride and Queen to Vladislad.

Has produced many cubs, all of whom she adored until they were destined to strike out on their own while also caring for the other cubs in the pride. Afryea kept order and peace among her lionesses especially those newly arrived from other prides. They have all come to love Afryea looking up to her like a great mother figure.

However the years were pressing on her and it was showing in her graying coat despite it's still healthy shine to it. Her body's movements were slower and a stiff having been ordered by her beloved Vladislad to retire from hunting and of course from giving anymore cubs.

She would spend her days watching over her lionesses with the help of the other elder lionesses who were in their thirteen years but also getting on into their old age. Afryea would spend her days mostly with Vladislad enjoying each other's company to the fullest when duties of patrolling were left to his heir Lazlo and son Vladislad II. There was an acceptance that her time with him and the others was coming close to an end. Afryea expressed her deep love for her king because he had turned out to be a kind lion to them all, especially her.

As her days were coming to a close, she asked her second eldest lionesses to carry on as co-queens after her and even further after Vladislad. Lazlo and Vladislad II had been in a meeting with these elders to make those plans. Lazlo having grown throughout the years of the pride feeling as if he was her son because of the deep affection she had for the maltese male who proved himself more than worthy, Lazlo would be sure to let none of the other lionesses challenge him or the decree of their one and only queen of this pride who was essentially the heart of it.

Afryea proud to have known such a good male kissed his cheek, giving him gentle maternal purrs. "Thank you my son. You and little Vlad are such precious lions to this pride. You make me proud and honored to know that this pride will continue on well. Before I am gone I wish for my lioness Kali to be here with the others. She belongs at our side during the mourning period. Watch for her and the little male she has.....He will perhaps be the future of this pride. So have many daughters with the beautiful females here so that we all can continue our family lines." Afryea told him, licking his cheek then turning away to go see the final beauty of this world and to enjoy them with Vladislad.
