Sekhai came into the pride at a young age. At the end of Xsayaisa's reign, she entered the Katharos pride, and she grew up alongside the heir and watched the new era blossom firsthand.
Sekhai was born in her father Khronus' pride to her mother, simply called Smols for her small size. She inherited her dwarfism from her mother and the majority of her markings from her father. The second she entered the world it was apparent that she would also be a dwarf, and her birth sent ripples of excitement through the pride as it was obvious she'd be a gem to behold as well. News of her birth also spread through the lands, and word eventually got to Xsayaisa that her father wouldn't be opposed with parting with her for the right price.
She stayed in her birthpride until she was weaned, and then came to the Katharos pride. Her arrival incited curiosity and wonder, as the majority of the pride had never seen such a cub with either her stature or her markings. She was taken in and raised by the pride, but most influential in her growth was one of the aging queens of the pride, Seltas. The older lioness was subject to the same kind of wondering adoration for her extremely pale coat, achromism. Sehkai and Seltas bonded strongly, and Sekhai rarely left her side for the first few months of her time in the pride.
.personality.
Sekhai is still slightly bitter over the fact that she was bought just to be a curiosity and item for the pride. Seltas helped her forgive Xsayaisa for the most part, having gone through the same thing. While she would try to avoid the old king, she loves the lionesses in the pride and is great friends or at least friendly acquaintances with most of them. Sekhai's physical build limits her in some areas, and she has a hard time hunting or traveling long distances. She tries her best to be a help, however, and is known for her herbwork and organizational skills.
Sekh loves cubs and is a fantastic mother, both doting and firm. She is a favorite for other cubs in the pride, especially the shier ones- possibly because of her less intimidating appearance, but most likely because of her laid-back and friendly attitude. She's extremely approachable and is a great listener, though one of her downfalls is putting almost everything else before her own needs. She has to be forced to take time for herself, and is notorious for working to the point of exhaustion regularly.
.october third, 2016.
A young adolescent, just over a year old, was brought into the pride by Xekhralys. The pride's few inhabitants are aging, and the optimistic young lioness caught the king's eye. This was news enough, as the pride is a small one- numbering under seven permanent individuals at all times. New lionesses are very rarely taken in. In addition, however, Sekhai was astounded to see that the young girl was yet another mutation, likely purchased in part for her looks. The diminutive lioness immediately took the younger under her wing, and the two formed an inseparable bond. Sekhai took the liberty of naming the new adolescent after her very dear companion, the late Seltas. The pride all takes responsibility for raising and teaching Seltas Ⅱ, though she has the strongest connection with Sekhai.

Your lioness makes weird faces before eating the meaty looking treat. After swallowing, she looks like she's going to vomit. Ha, you made her eat lion balls... You don't really feel like chuckling though.
