Katie was found wandering the desert on her own. She was close to death due to starvation and dehydration. Baltazaar brought her back to the pride where he and his females helped to nurse her back to health - the female decided to make herself a permanent member of her new pride. She is one of Balt's prized ladies and is always seen strolling through the territory with either Katie or Callie, though the two girls have a fierce rivalry going between them; even when they're out hunting, the two can never co-operate and always fight, mostly leading to Melody, one of the younger girls, to breaking the two up.

With Baltazaar gone, Katie has mourned her King and has now moved on to helping Callie with Alexander. The two girls have resolved their issues now that jealousy is no longer a problem, but that doesn't mean that they don't both love their new King. Katie still acts as Queen despite her daughter having been given her position, but Cassidy nor Alex seem to mind it. Alex appreciates all the help he is receiving, especially since as he never thought he would even be in this position in a pride.

Katie feels that since she is getting on in her years, she steps away from the pride alongside Callie and Melody, the trio of females say their goodbyes to their children and hole themselves up in a cave on the territory to wait out death together.

In the embrace of her two closest friends, Callie, one of the former Queens of the pride passes away.
