Berhi

Mother of Prue and Fheri, Berhi is a star lion descendant. Her coat may be decorated with the shining stars of her ancestors but her heart is as dark as a moonless night. She joined Damu Kondo shortly after the pride was cursed while she was still a young lioness. She was instantly charmed by his power and ferocity, becoming one of his many wives. Queen Astera was not happy about any of this especially as she struggled to bear any of Damu's cubs after birthing two of his enemies, including a male.

For Berhi this was no struggle and she soon gave birth to a son. Fheri was the spitting image of his father and just as evil. Even as a cub she knew that he was the perfect lion to be Damu Kondo's heir, but Astera's jealousy knew no bounds and after an "accident" that killed several cubs and injured others, Berhi knew her son was no longer safe in this pride. While he was still a young adolescent and under cover of darkness, she helped him escape into the safety of Kivulli's old pride. Kivulli had long since perished to the sands of time and the pride was now ruled under the lion Shahari.

Time passed and Berhi gave birth to another cub, this time a daughter! She was overjoyed and thankfully this time around Queen Astera was too busy wrangling her own group of hot mess children to really care that Damu had another brat with one of the many lionesses in her pride. Sadly the happiness was short lived as soon a young rouge the pride had taken in, Rhondo attacked the now elderly king with a band of strange rouge females and won! Taking on the title Usurper, the young male named himself king. Some of the older females of the pride left not wanting a bratty young upstart who had barely grow into his mane as their king, but Berhi and several others had young cubs and couldn't leave even if they wanted to. Unfortunately this isn't the only change they are seeing as it seems King Rhondo has brought along a new curse to the pridelands.
