Currently in training, of course. Mystic Belladonna was present at her birth, as she is at every cub's first breath, though not in her own pride. Lilyshade was being kept in King Giddeus's pride due to an arrangement between him and King Helianthus, and was the first lioness to do so along with her sister. A thunderstorm raged, as it does at every significant birth, and when Lilyshade struggled to birth the cub, jaws dropped at her shining, lilac coat. Any lion with such a pelt is something special, but Belladonna knew that this was to be the next Mystic of the pride. As Dark Lilac grew older, she had a very strange and distant disposition, much to the concern of her mother and the king, but Belladonna knew that these were tell-tale signs of a lion destined for something great. It would be wrong to call her "evil", but "good" doesn't fit either; a mysterious lioness of moral ambiguity to be respected and possibly feared. --- I tried to warn you when you were a child. I told you not to get lost in the wilds. I sent you omens and all kinds of signs. I taught you melodies, poems and rhymes.
