Antress huffs haughtily as the cubs Chesha was supposed to be watching decided to climb over her paws and shoulders, really now they were much too old for these type of shenanigans. That lioness was lucky she offered to watch them so nothing happened to the cubs while Chesha went about doing whatever the hell she was doing now. A rough lick behind her ear has her startling and she whips her head around to snap at whoever touched her like that, but is cowed immediately when she recognized the pride leader. She dips her head in respect, and gets another lick to the top of her head as a reward. She chuffs when he lays down next to her, letting the energetic cubs crawl all over him instead. She rolls over a bit so she was pressed against the length of his body, feeling the muscles that rippled under his thick fur and the rumble in his chest vibrated her skin. Maybe watching the cubs wasn't so bad.
