You tell Mayday about this standoff you had with three dogs, and she idly wonders why you didn't just kill them all. She states the drooling mongrels fear her deadly claws.

Mayday was born to a former king , Vervain. She was always on her father's side , despite him being the laughing stock of the pride. Mayday was a strange sight. She looked nothing like her parents , neither did she act like them. She was always there for everyone and soon became the pride's caretaker.
Mayday's gentle nature caused her to be very liked. Her pride members even gave her gifts! Such as a feather decor , crafted by her good friend Lalapeiya. Or her Rose Quartz Ornaments , crafted and gifted to her by her father. As much as her pride members loved her , she loved them back.
However , lions grew suspicious about her a while after her father passed away. Her father was really young when Mayday was born. At the time lions started to question her , she was already supposed to be 15! Yet , she didn't seem to age. With her pride's suspicion growing stronger and stronger each day , she had to reveal herself as what she truly was.
Mayday was a goddess that disguised herself as a regular lioness. She took over the body of a cub that was going to be stillborn , seemingly being brought in this world by regular lions. She planned to watch over the pride for generations on , as it didn't seem that she was going to go soon.
After she revealed herself , every new king and queen get Mayday's blessing to be protected from illnesses and possible injuries. Although only having revealed herself after Inlé-Rah's death , Mayday takes her duty very serious , even blessing allied kings.
