Biography
• older than any lion can imagine
• doesn’t eat, doesn’t sleep, the rest of the pride is unsure of her

It was a grim day in hell when she appeared. Echo looked upon her starving pride, trying to find any last thing she could to feed them. Echo herself hadn’t eaten in 3 days. Ubaba didn’t make it. Her skin tight to her bones and her face sunken in like the rest of the pride, she passed away peacefully alongside her son. As she took her last breaths, before Mian could even be notified, a grim figure appeared.
Standing on the top of a hill, looking down at them with piercing blue eyes. She was so far away but somehow.. they could all see her. The odd lioness arched her back and Echo noticed in horror that storm clouds began to roll in. She watched as the rain begun to flood down. They needed rain and water. But this would drown them. The dry and cracked earth couldn’t soak up this water. At once, Echo and Dahro sprang into action, trying to get the pride to higher ground. Echo looked to the tallest hill that surrounded them. Where The Stars Touch the Earth. The Starseer was still up there. She strained her eyes but she saw her making her way down the mountain as fast as she could, running to be with her pride.

“Everyone! Get to high ground! To the mountain!” Echo yelled, nudging them all towards where The Starseer was coming from. She watched as her pride ran for the mountain, each member holding cubs or helping the older lionesses like Kaya out of the flood path. She looked back at the strange lioness. Blue eyes still starring into her, watching her every movement. The Starseer arrived to the bottom but she wasn’t running to be with the pride like Echo thought. She ran for the lioness. Echo watched in horror as she got closer and closer to what Echo would believe was the harbinger of death to her pride.

The Starseer approached the lioness. As she got closer she slowed down in order to show her respect to the lioness. She was small, thin. She didn’t look lion. But The Starseer knew exactly who she was.
“Illustrious Hyra… this rain is perfect. We needed this horribly but my Queen fears for flooding.” She bowed low to the dirt, lowering herself to be so far beneath the hybrid.

“Very well.”

At once the rain ceased and the clouds retreated. The water that was filling their valley sunk into the soil at once. The Starseer noticed this was no ordinary lioness. This was Hyra, the leopon Starseer, the very first one. Older than anyone could have ever imagined, more powerful than the goddesses who bless this pride.
