"After spotting Palitoe push over one of their siblings in the mud, Grandpaw Halgera pulls them aside and, with pride, tells them they should always take advantage of the weak."

It was a cold night in the jungle the pride called home. Lionesses were lounging on the rocks that formed the underground den. They were chatting and grooming each other, enjoying the company and showing an unusually soft side of them. Pandora, Ashakiran and Dahlia were laughing and trading stories of the trouble they had gotten up to that day, they knew perfectly well that had any of the other lionesses attempted to do even half of what they did they would have been killed. But they were the favourites of the pride, the king and the spirits, they could do anything short of betraying the pride and there would be no consequences.
A hush fell over them, however, when they saw the returning image of their king, followed by the fox they had come to know as the guardian spirit of the pride, Aries. Stopping in front of everyone Lil' Bee looked at the faces around him and spoke in the sweet soft tone he was know for. "Aries has informed me of the arrival of Cake in the borders... He wanted to leave a gift with the pride, he knew we would cherish him despite his... differences" With that he reached towards his back and grabbed something. Gasps could be heard once Lil' Bee put down the cub, for that was what it was, a two headed cub. The little thing looked around nervously, he had been called not so nice things by some of the visiting kings when he had lived in Cake's pride. He let out a little yelp when he was nuzzled and turned four eyes to look at the fox that had appeared out of thin air while they were coming here. The fox let out a sweet and harmonious laugh and stated "Fear not, little nightmare, you will be quite beloved here!"
As if on cue, the lionesses started to praise both Cake and him, they spoke of how utterly adorable he was, and "Didn't he just have the prettiest eyes?!"
Giggling close to him drew his eyes towards a group of three strange looking lionesses. 'Oh! they are a Leopon, a Dwarf and a Primal!' The Leopon grinned sharply at him and winked "And what is your name love?" The question came from the dwarf lioness. Looking back at Lil' Bee, the king that had taken him in without a thought, that was so gentle when grabbing and carrying him; and seeing the encouraging smile on his face, smiled back at the pride "I'm Palitoe!"
