Named after the character from Lez Mis. Her footnote will change with her age. It will not directly follow the story of the movie/book, but it will fit with the song and the pride.
Master of the house - After being taken into the pride from a raffle at a very young age, Eponine met the King and Queen of the pride Syonix and Robbinfire. The rest of the pride she met shortly after and they told her of how the king was the master and leader of the pride. He was wicked and evil, often tricking anyone who came into his pride for food or items. There was something about one of the males that stood out to her, but she couldn't quite understand why or what it was. He was the son of the King and Queen, Salazar, and was very young, but very handsome.
We were cubs (children) together - Upon growing up, her and Salazar became very close, but not as close as she would have wanted. They were only friends, and she had fallen in love with him. However he had fallen for another in the pride, a fair maiden named Lesley. She had much better looks than her, she thought, it's no wonder he's fallen for her. They had grown up together, and though she was older, it didn't matter, and this made her very depressed over time. When she came into heat, the king had another king breed with her.
In my life - After her two cubs were born, Salazar congratulated her, but then went on to ask what Lesley's favorite feathers were. She knew, and she told him what he wanted to know. With a simple thanks, he left for the den horde to see what he could find, and he crafted a beautiful set of feathers for the lioness that wasn't her. She watched them sadly as they nuzzled and sat together, wishing desperately to be her. As time continued, he kept coming to her for advice and to tell her stories of how "amazing" Lesley was. Every word he said was a dagger in her heart, for he said that in his life, he'd never felt so happy as he did around Lesley, and not her.
A heart full of love - Salazar and Lesley were now a pair. And though they’re not allowed to have children together, they loved each other. She watched the couple from afar on most days, moping and clawing at the dirt. Several times the other lionesses tried to get her to move on, but she refused, wallowing in her grief of a love that could never be.
On my own - It’s been years now. She’s had cubs and lost cubs, all with different kings. She knows she’ll never belong to Salazar, but she watched him from afar and let him be happy. They’re still friends, and she never told Salazar how she feels, and she hid them from him, but she seemed happier. At least that’s what the other lionesses thought. While she slept, she would dream of a world where her and Salazar had cubs together and lived in that happily ever after, but whenever she’d wake, she’d face reality with sadness and grief in her heart.
