Born blind, Mintesinswat is a kind and respectful young lioness, quiet and apparently at peace with her lot in life. She knows her limitations and accepts them, and seeks a purpose for her adult life with grace and calm. She does, however, seem interested in the lioness Bezawit, who carries the blood of two kings and, from what Mintesinswat can guess, feels connections to the spirits the likes have which have not yet been seen in the Kalkidan pride. But she knows very little for sure.
