Name means "Proud Moon-Huntress."
Title means "Queen."
Day One:
Urúvion Dûrion, on one of his patrols came across a young cub. This cub was found dangling in a tree, tied around her neck was a cage; just big enough for a small number of golden beetles. The dark King looked at the young cub who could barely roar, but proudly stood her ground against the much larger beast.
Moved by the young cub's pride, far more than the pitiful yowling the young one called a roar, Urúvion Dûrion dropped the beetles into the cage. Closing the lid and removing the cage from the cub, he left it on the branch and picked up the cub. Though his grip was rough, the cub was more than happy to yowl and mew in Urúvion Dûrion's maw. Even if he could end the cub with a shake of his head, the little ball of fluff was proud.
From that long walk on, the cub was named Vhaid Drathir-Talya. A fitting name, in the tongue of the Drow meaning Proud Moon-Huntress.
Day Two:
Urúvion Dûrion noticed the young cub had the potential of being a powerful Shaman but did not have the knowledge in such matters. However, he recalled a king named Xukuthe'l Dyne who wielded the ancient magics himself, and sent the cub to live with him. She was welcomed warmly by the young king, and began her training immediately.
Day Three:
Vhaid Drathir-Talya was not pleased with all the chores Minasienal had her doing. Gather this, gather that, clean this, clean that, help this lion, yada yada. It all seemed so..lowly.. of such a high-ranking lion. Minasienal pulled the cocky young lady aside.
"Vhaid Drathir-Talya, you must learn that the rings on your hide mean nothing here. Yes, you hold the title of Qu'essan, but so does Xukuthe'l Dyne's sisters. And they too, have rings on their hides. All that marking earns you is a title. Yes, he may pamper you, but nobeast else will. You will learn your place in this pride, or be sent away."
The cub puffed herself up and snarled at the half-blind lioness. "I am a Princess, and you will treat me as such! I am above your petty chores!"
Minasienal attacked the cub suddenly and viciously, leaving her with several permanent wounds. Pinning her to the ground, the lioness hissed into the cub's ear. "Now you will have a permanent reminder of your place, welp."
The young cub whimpered and ran off to hide.
Day Four - Six: Vhaid slowly adjusted to life with the Quortek Qu'ellar, and, eventually, Minasienal warmed up to her, giving her more interesting tasks, and soon enough, the older lioness was letting Vhaid do some of the seer's work.
Day 9-??: Vhaid aged into a lioness so stunning she was titled the Eternal Shaman. She watched over the pride's young, and organized the Den Mothers. It was not lost upon her that Minasienal was getting older, now just a frail shell of her former self.
Day 14: Vhaid was tasked with the duty of laying
Minasienal Shebali Yath, Former Seer of the Quortek Qu'ellar, to rest. Late the previous night, the Achromatic lioness drew her last breath, leaving the mortal plane behind in order to take up residence in the Astral realms. It was hard on the entire Pride, but the strength of Vhaid and Dyne helped them through it.
