Katsungaippuk

Name meaning: "Eager"

A powerful hunter despite her deformed tail, Katsungaippuk left her previous pride and joined Kieru's when her previous pride decided to disband. The intelligent and adventurous lioness puts the safety of the others in her hunting party above her own, and is constantly on the lookout for anything that could pose a threat to the pride. This includes bees. She is heavyset and strong, possibly due to her bobbed tail, and can wrestle down almost any prey animal, including the ever-elusive buffalo and many different types of ungulate.

Ever-beautiful Katsungaippuk kept her excitable yet mature and responsible personality all the way through her life. She eventually retired from hunting when a kick to her leg gave her a permanent limp, and chose to watch over the younger lions and cubs until she eventually died. She still doesn't like bees.
