Biography
Syringa: The First Priestess. Goddess of Love; Protector of Broodmothers, Priestesses and Cubs. Mother of Circe, Ceridwen, Oblata, Emodi, and Villosa.

Syringa started out her life as a mortal lioness, although rumors abound that she had the blood of the Primordials in her veins. Born to a far away pride, she was brought into The Court of Gods and Goddesses under the reign of King Dusand as one of The Welcomed. Grateful to the king for his hospitality, she showered him in devotion and praise. Having a disposition as delicate and romantic as her petal-hued pelt, she shied away from the harshness of hunting and so joined Queen Astarte in the sacred duty of nursing the future of the pride.

It is said that she was blessed with dreams of premonition, and when her sisters were away hunting and the cubs fast-asleep, she would commune with the spirit realm on the pride's behalf. It was because of these attributes that King Dusand appointed her not only as a broodmother but as the pride's first High Priestess; a title she would honor to the best of her ability.

She would council King Dusand as well as his successor King Ashel, and when demons began to ravage the land, it was said that she placed protections spells on King Ashel so he could smite them without fear of harm himself. Her holy endeavors even purified the Demon Lord Nyx so that she could be placed on the path to redemption. For all of these and more, it is said that she became beloved by the spirits and so was ascended into godhood upon her death.

Her role of High Priestess was later succeeded by Queen Hemera the Bright, and her daughter Villosa the Herald would join her in Godhood.
