Name meaning: "Black Ice"

гололедица's old pride disbanded when prey became too low, and she joined Kieru's pride with her two young cubs when she was found hunting on the pride's territory. The cold-hearted lioness has a blade bound to her tail tip, within a scrap of dried savannah grass. гололедица is so icy and heartless that there is a rumor going around that she killed her first litter of cubs when they didn't meet her standards. She disregards the rumors, and when she isn't fiercely defending the edges of the territory side-by-side with Yuki no Ningyō, she's teaching the cubs valuable battle skills. The other somewhat evil cubs seem especially enraptured by her teachings. Some cubs and younger adolescents pass around the rumor that she is a storm or wind goddess, because of how the breeze always seems to pick up near her.

As if it were possible, гололедица seemed to grow more short-tempered in her elderly years. As her bones grew weak, she withdrew into herself, choosing to socialize as little as possible, but in the few cases where the pride was threatened, she attacked the offenders with the ferocity of a brewing hurricane before quickly retiring back to the cave.
