A Lioness approaches Mitos quietly, then bats at his haunches, causing him to leap into the air. Mitos, rather sluggishly, spins on his heels to face a ghastly looking lioness, her one white eye gleamed up at him like a pearl.
"You must be one of Tonto's new play things," He huffs, turning away," This den is for Royals, you sleep outside."
The lioness instead of listening to Mitos's whiny orders, sat promptly where Mitos had been laying before. Mitos gasped slightly, and scooted away, lifting a paw to bat her away.
"Royals," He restated,"R-O-Y-A-L-S?"
The lioness snickered and picked at his bedding, using a fine feather to pluck her dinner from her teeth.
"Mitos, Mitos," She digressed,"You and I both know our dear Kemilangan was not a royal, if so where is her heir to the throne? Surely not you or Hura-Hara? A shame really, a pitty. Another king's blood lives in you..."
The Lioness turned high-tail and padded into the cold. Mitos wired his crooked, confused mouth shut and leapt to the den entrance.
"Vision!"
His voice was lost to the wind and the lioness was lost to the fog.
Mitos, you are loved. 6/16/19
You place the offering at your pridemember's resting place. It arises again and their decaying body turns into a moving, life-like vessel. How incredible it is to interact with them again!
Mitos emerged from a rocky outcrop, his bones snapped and realigned, "Vision," he rumbled," You think you're the only Lion allowed to walk this earth? You haven't shaken me yet, i am as pure as you, I am the son of your father's wife, the crown is undoubtedly mine!"
