While most animals would be considered in outsider due to their albinism, Coelus was considered an outsider due to his social, outgoing nature and love of companionship. Although snow leopards usually stay with their mothers for a little over two years, Coelus continued following his mother until he was three, before she had finally had enough and sent him on his way to live on his own. Although he tried to socialize with others of his species (and sometimes even non-snow leopards), Coelus was continuously rejected for his strange coloration, loud personality, and odd behaviors. On several occasions he was nearly caught and killed by poachers after trying to approach them, before he finally realized that he needs to avoid humans if he wanted to survive. Coelus has a deep fascination with birds, and commonly weaves their molted feathers into his long, shaggy fur. Whether it was due to this habit or some sort of gift, after becoming immortal Coelus sprouted feathers of his own on his legs, and a large pair of wings on his back. It's unknown how Coelus became immortal, but his personal belief is that the Gods needed a friendly soul to watch over the skies and all its residents, and protect them from harms way.
