~~CARETAKER~~
Flitter kinda just showed up. Rumor is Mekaisto IV got close with her during the May Championships 2017. She was a groupie that met up with him pretty often while he hung around V'Kai. He hadn't really gotten close to any other groupies, but Flitter was so unique he found himself talking to her more often than he meant. When the Championships were near ending, he asked her if she wanted to go home with him. She was such a cool and fun lioness, he assumed she'd deny his request. But to his surprise and sheer joy, she accepted! She followed him home and he made room for her in the pride.
In all honesty, Flitter came from a very rich pride. But you wouldn't know that unless you really knew her. She keeps it hidden really well. She is good at blending in and pretending to be a low-class lion. Why? Because she prefers it. She doesn't like high-class lions or lionesses and much prefers the lower classes. She has always been very tomboyish and down-to-earth, enjoying rolling in the mud and rough-housing. This was frowned upon in her birth pride. So when she was old enough, she told her dad she wanted to travel the world. He was always fond of her and gave her his blessing (knowing of course that she didn't fit in at home), along with enough gold beetles for her to live off for a while. She keeps these well-hidden so that nobody will befriend her for money. The result is lions and lionesses falling for her and loving her company for her fun and true personality. She's so real. It's hard to find one quite as chill and great as her.
That's why Mekaisto was so shocked that she decided to go home with him. He felt truly honored. For her, she hung out as a 'groupie' during the May Championships because she was secretly looking for a new pride. She was trying to make new connections and meet as many lions and lionesses out there, hoping to find one that she'd want to follow home. She was already going to ask Mekaisto if she could follow him home, moved by his sweet personality despite his frightening appearance. She knew she'd be safe and welcome in his pride. So when he asked, it was an obvious answer for her.
Flitter is pansexual and polyamorous. So even now in Mekaisto's pride, she is never tied down to one lion. He knows this and is okay with it (being poly himself and a pretty lax King lion). She also is someone that cubs and adolescents look up to and strive to be like. Because of this, she has chosen the Caretaker position in the pride. She doesn't mind hunting or fighting but she most prefers the constant company of others.
-Flitter seemed to be trying to get your attention. As you approached, you see that she had lined up several meerkat carcasses neatly on the ground. She smiles and awaits your praise.
-Flitter is busy meticulously grooming her paws and claws of any dirt and blood that clings to them. They have to be perfect. She doesn't even notice you.
-As you walk into her sight, Flitter proudly gets up to strut in front of you, showing off her sleek fur.
-You see Flitter strutting around, chest held high. As you walk up, she tells you that this pride is the greatest pride in the lands! Well now, damn straight!
