I was born in the pride when the first king was still alive, My mother mated to a different male then the king. I was nursing from her when the king came in hearing of my mothers birth, he noticed it wasn't his but he accepted it none the less. He acted like I was his real daughter. He licked me gently before giving my mother a lick and padded out of the den. My mother smiled and began to sing a song that was past down to her. It was a song to calm the restless cubs. Eventually as I grew, my mother taught me the ways and the king taught me how to hunt. The pride was peaceful and I am happy to be in the pride. Soon the king grew older and retired leaving the pride to his heir. The new king grew a liking to me and nominated me as one of the head queens. I was happy and I knew the rope on how to help the king rule as his head queen, he helps me as I help him. I would say I wouldn't have been any happier then to live and grew up in this pride, I was at peace.
